HELLO FAMILIES 🙂
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We had a great week in 4th grade! We have been finishing up projects and working in pairs and groups to extend our learning. We shared our connections to our reading.
We learned different math games to help with our multiplication and division basic facts.
THIS WEEK’S CURRICULUM
We will be making connections in our reading and will be journalling about these connections.
We will continue our inquiry into division this week. We will continue to learn different methods of long division to deepen our number sense understanding, and will answer open ended real-world problems to develop our problem solving skills.
UNIT OF INQUIRY
We are tuning into our new unit – Habitats: External Influences Affect the Function of a Habitat. We will be researching to learn about different habitats and ecosystems to give us some background knowledge to help make connections.
